Community Partners are a group of businesses and organizations that support the Girl Scout mission by offering opportunities for Girl Scouts to build courage, confidence and character through workshops and events. Many workshops are based on Girl Scout Try-Its, Badges and Interest Projects.
Workshops may be scheduled directly through the Community Partner. Details such as fees, minimum and maximum number of participants required, contact information and location will be indicated with each Community Partner description.

Noah’s Ark Animal Workshop Description: At Noah’s Ark Animal Workshop you will be able to make your own stuffed animal, make a wish on a rainbow star, name it, and dress it. The stuffed animal also comes with a customized birth certificate. You can then give the animal you made to a child in need. Description: Abrakadoodle classes are carefully crafted to promote creativity and imaginative thinking. In Abrakadoodle, girls learn about and through art… all while having a blast! They will create fabulous original art, get excited about creative experiences, develop the ability to see things from a variety of perspectives, creatively solve interesting problems and experience the joy of accomplishment. We are building a world of creative children, one child at a time! Abrakadoodle is the winner of 7 Nickelodeon 2009 Parents’ Picks Awards in cities nationwide. Available Activities: Through our imaginative lessons and inspired teachers, we can design a program especially to fit your needs and budget – from Daisy Learning Petals all the way through Junior Girl Scouts patches. American Red Cross Description: Joan Kramer, a registered nurse, is available to demonstrate a wide variety of American Red Cross’s safety kits. Inspire Yoga with Rachael Haas Lewinski Description: Rachael Haas Lewinski has worked with troops from Girl Scouts of Manitou Council for more than four years and has a passion for working with children to help them explore ways to develop their minds, bodies and hearts in a fun, uplifting, empowering and age-appropriate way. Rachael provides yoga classes both off-site and on-site for children and adults. Available activities: Cost: $100 per hour. Workshop time frame dependent on number of participants as well as ages of participants. A small mileage fee may be charged for travel beyond Sheboygan County. Minimum/Maximum: 8 participants (below 8, ask for separate pricing)/30 participants (per one teacher, additional teachers may be needed) |

Sheboygan County Dairy Workshop Description: The Sheboygan County Dairy workshop is being offered to Brownie Girl Scouts and Junior Girl Scouts by the Sheboygan County Dairy Ambassador. This workshop focuses on educating girls about dairy farms. A story is shared about getting milk from cows, to the dairy, to the store. It encourages girls to drink milk to stay healthy and have strong bones. This workshop is very flexible. It lasts about an hour and a half. A two week notice is required. The Dairy Ambassador will come to you if you live in Sheboygan County. Cost: The workshop is provided free of charge. |

Best Friends Veterinary Center Description: Best Friends Veterinary Center offers an educational outreach program for youth. Tours of the clinic as well as workshops to teach youth about pet safety, pet healthcare and the humane treatment of animals are available by appointment. If there are any special topics you would like discussed, those can be incorporated into the talks/tours. The average talk/tour time is about an hour but can me modified to fit your needs. Outreach programming is restricted to Ozaukee County. Cost: All programming is offered free of charge to you. |

Pumpkin Farm Tour and Educational Opportunity in Cedarburg Carol Bolwerk invites you to explore her pumpkin farm and learn about pumpkins, gourds, corn, nutrition and much, much more. Tours are $3.00 per child and include: tour, educational experience, two pumpkins or one pumpkin and one squash, along with one broom corn and one Indian corn.
