Community Partners are a group of businesses and organizations that support the Girl Scout mission by offering opportunities for Girl Scouts to build courage, confidence and character through workshops and events. Many workshops are based on Girl Scout Try-Its, Badges and Interest Projects.

Workshops may be scheduled directly through the Community Partner. Details such as fees, minimum and maximum number of participants required, contact information and location will be indicated with each Community Partner description.

Elementastic provides fun science education through shows or experimenting workshops and special events.
We get kids of all ages excited about science! We show them how much fun science is and how much it is part of their daily life. All our programs are hands-on learning experiences and provide the girls with the opportunity to earn several badges:

Description: At Noah’s Ark Animal Workshop you will be able to make your own stuffed animal, make a wish on a rainbow star, name it, and dress it. The stuffed animal also comes with a customized birth certificate. You can then give the animal you made to a child in need.

Available Activities:
Sign up for a party and play Bead Trade, the brand new board game that has the bead world buzzing! Play for fun or take the risk and bluff your way to a pocket full of beads! I provide the Bead Trade games for you to play and the beads to win.

You can also learn exciting beading skills making jewelry or beading projects. Girl Scout groups can earn try-its, badges and interest project patches while learning new beading techniques and skills. I also provide classes where you learn the history of beads and what country's they come from. All beads, bead boards and supplies are included with each exciting class or party, plus everyone goes home with a really cool project you've created yourself. It may be jewelry, beaded bookmarks, beaded bubble wands, beaded picture frames, macramé or much more.

Demonstrations of Lampwork Glass beads made with a torch may be included as well. Every class instructed by me is filled with hours of fun!

Description: Rachael Haas Lewinski has worked with troops from Girl Scouts of Manitou Council for more than four years and has a passion for working with children to help them explore ways to develop their minds, bodies and hearts in a fun, uplifting, empowering and age-appropriate way. Rachael provides yoga classes both off-site and on-site for children and adults.

Description: The Sheboygan County Dairy workshop is being offered to Brownie Girl Scouts and Junior Girl Scouts by the Sheboygan County Dairy Ambassador. This workshop focuses on educating girls about dairy farms. A story is shared about getting milk from cows, to the dairy, to the store. It encourages girls to drink milk to stay healthy and have strong bones. This workshop is very flexible. It lasts about an hour and a half. A two week notice is required. The Dairy Ambassador will come to you if you live in Sheboygan County.

Traveling Trunk Program- Through a grant from the Wisconsin Humanities Council (WHC), the trunk program includes lesson plans. The trunks are available for a $25 refundable deposit. Year Round Indoor Horseback Riding at Flying S. Ranch, Grafton, WI!   

Ride for fun while learning fascinating facts how a horse's natural instincts affects how the horse behaves toward you and other horses. 

Located 20 minutes north of Milwaukee (3 miles off of I 43), Flying S. Ranch provides a fun, safe and structured riding program enabling girls to earn a Certificate of Completion from Flying S. Ranch Riding School.  

Girls will get hands on experience in many aspects of horsemanship including saddling, grooming, feeding, handling, general healthcare, and of course riding! Placed in groups of 4-5 girls, each group will rotate through a series of activities all including interaction with horses.

Other Information: Flying S. Ranch is a year round facility providing riding lesson programs to students ages 7 to adulthood. Summer day camps including the general public are held June through August. Girl Scout events include a hay wagon ride at no additional cost.

Pumpkin Farm

Pumpkin Farm Tour and Educational Opportunity in Cedarburg

Carol Bolwerk invites you to explore her pumpkin farm and learn about pumpkins, gourds, corn, nutrition and much, much more. Tours are $3.00 per child and include: tour, educational experience, two pumpkins or one pumpkin and one squash, along with one broom corn and one Indian corn. Plan for the outing to last roughly two hours.
