Become a Volunteer
Being a volunteer is one of the most rewarding experiences to have! Without the commitment from you, the volunteer, Girl Scouting would not be possible. With dedicating only a few hours a month, you can help build a girl’s courage, confidence, and character that will last a lifetime. Being a volunteer also allows you to have more flexibility in your schedule, as you pick the days and times that work for both you and your Girl Scout troop. As a Girl Scout volunteer, you'll add meaningful days to girls' lives and to your own. Adults 18 years of age or older can join Girl Scouts to serve as a mentor or speak at a Girl Scout event, volunteer in a troop or group, offer services at the council level, or simply say "I believe in the Girl Scout mission and want to show my support by becoming a member." |

Volunteer today! Here's what you need to get started...
- Complete the "I'm Interested in Volunteering for Girl Scouts..." form
- Register to be a Girl Scout member by completing the Adult Member Registration form. The completed form may be returned to the local volunteer that recruited you or to the Girl Scout Center.
- Prior to appointment to any volunteer position, all adults complete a background check. Once your completed Adult Member Registration Form has been received, you will be contacted with additional information on how to complete the background check.
- All volunteers are required to complete a learning opportunity appropriate to their position.
