Girl Scouts is all about making friends. And there’s no better way to expand your troop’s circle of friends than to join the Girl Scout Pen Pal Network.
A pen pal is a friend you get to know through letters. She usually lives in another state or country, and will write about her hometown, school, family, pets, customs and traditions, special interest, or talents. Pen pals share things like games, recipes, solutions to problems and photos.
The national Girl Scout Pen Pal Network connects Girl Scout troops across the country to form lasting friendships. As participants in this program, troops are asked to correspond with pen pals for at least one year after the link is made.
To participate, fill out our online request form. Troops should NOT contact other councils directly. Please be patient while waiting to be matched with your pen pals.
Please contact the Pen Pal coordinator at your council. In order to ensure girls' safety, Girl Scouts of Manitou will only match girls from other councils who have come through their council's Pen Pal coordinators.
