Family Partnership Campaign
- Parents of Girl Scouts are asked to make an $8.00 donation to Manitou Council at the time they register their daughter in Girl Scouting. Parents choose Girl Scouting for a reason – they want what’s best for their daughter and we deliver.
- The cost to the council to serve one girl is approximately $300. One hundred and sixty dollars per girl is raised through cookie sales. The remaining $140 is raised through family partnership contributions, individual and family foundation donors, and camp program fees.
- Adult volunteers are also asked to make an $8.00 donation to Manitou Council. Become a family partnerships donor today and open the doors to all the promises and possibilities for all girls – they are worth it!
- Girl Scouting turns ordinary days into days girls remember for the rest of their lives.
Your gift will help girls in Girl Scouts of Manitou Council develop real-life skills and confidence to become successful leaders in the twenty-first century. If you support Girl Scouting through the cookie sale, we value your purchases. But cookies alone cannot cover the cost of our free volunteer training, providing resources and staff support to volunteers, financial assistance for girls and adults, and maintenance of our camps and program facilities. Every gift matters and whether you donate $25 or $2,500 your contribution will have an impact beyond what the purchase of Girl Scout cookies can do.

Your gift to the Family Partnership Campaign will make a difference in lives of your community’s girls by helping to provide:
Safety
$35 will cover the cost of screening one adult volunteer who works with girls. This screening process enables girls to have a safe Girl Scout experience.
Volunteer Training and Year-Long Support
$250 provides a troop advisor essential training, troop resources and year-long support to deliver the Girl Scout program.
Girl Scout Experience
$249 is the amount the council spends per girl for one year of Girl Scouting

- When registering to become a Girl Scout select an amount to donate on the Girl and/or Adult Membership Registration form. Pay with a check, cash or credit card.
