Camp Evelyn is located near Plymouth, Wisconsin, and has over 240 acres of forest with access to Crystal Lake and the Mullet River. Each summer over 1,000 girls attend camp, ranging in age from 6 to 17 years old. Girls have the option of staying just for the day or overnight ranging from three to five nights. The camping season starts in June and goes through the end of August.
We are looking for qualified staff who are excited about helping girls grow strong and are committed to their jobs. Students in all fields will benefit by working with children in an informal setting. Applicants should realize that the job of a camp staff is challenging, demanding and requires a great deal of patience and understanding. We invest in our staff by providing the highest quality training so they are equipped to face opportunities and challenges with newly gained skills. Thank you for your interest in working at Camp Evelyn!

When I accepted a job at Camp Evelyn, I knew my summer was going to be a blast. What I didn't know is, that this place would grab onto my heart and never let go. It's very hard to describe the magic of camp. You just need to experience it to fully understand.

Camp teaches you skills to use in non-camp situations, like how to stay calm in an emergency, how to delegate tasks, teamwork, how to depend on your coworkers, how to find something good in every person you encounter, communication, and time management. - Camp Staff, 2012
