Girl Scout Day at the Symphony

Festival City Symphony invites Girl Scouts, family members, and friends to "From Many, One," a concert on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the newly-renovated Bradley Symphony Center at 212 W. Wisconsin Ave, Downtown Milwaukee. Girl Scouts are encouraged to arrive early for the 1:30 p.m. on-stage Meet the  Musicians presentation, featuring instruent demonstrations by musicians of the orchestra. Music educator Lynn Roginske will also present her Children's Porgram Notes, a pre-concert discussion of the afternoon's music selections for kids.

Pre-concert activities and the concert are great for Girl Scouts of all ages. Participation relates to or completes steps 1, 2, and 3 of the Junior Musician badge.

Festival City Symphony and Music Director Carter Simmons will present "From Many, One," featuring the music of great American composers. 

Girl Scouts will enjoy:

  • Welcome from the conductor during the concert
  • Meet the Musicians presentation (1:30 p.m. on stage) featuring instrument demonstrations by orchestra members
  • Children's Program Notes (pre-concert on stage) with discussion of the afternoon's music selections
  • Commemorative patch for each Girl Scout in attendance

Please note: Any COVID-19 protocols in place at the Bradley Symphony Center at the time of the Concert will be followed. 

Admission for this event is free with a suggested donation of $7 per person for Girl Scouts and family members. Bring the entire family for a fabulous afternoon at the Symphony.
