Taking advantage of adult learning opportunities is an investment in yourself and the girls you serve. Learning and developing new skills and insights are all part of the Girl Scout program, and are not just for girls! Knowledgeable and skilled volunteers have the ability to offer the highest quality programming for girls while staying safe and having fun at the same time.

Calling all troop leaders! If you would like the opportunity to lead your troop in archery, this is the course for you. As a level 1 Archery Instructor you will be certified to teach archery to a small group of girls and/or adults. By having an instructor certification, you will not need to pay the instructor fee when conducting archery at Camp Evelyn.
When: Saturday, April 20th
9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Where: Camp Evelyn's Archery Range
Cost: $100 per person (includes course fee, manuals, whistles, and all other course materials and supplies)

The USA Archery Level 1 Instructor certification course provides graduates with the necessary tools to maintain a high level of safety both on and off the archery range for camps and beginner archery programs. During the course, instructors will learn about range safety and setup, the steps of shooting, equipment and repair, programs and lesson plans, and will be well prepared to teach beginner archery programs to people of all ages and abilities in a variety of disciplines.
