Day Camp | Girl Scouts

Sample camp for a day!

This allows girls to participate in daytime camp fun like theme week activities, swimming, hiking, art projects, singing camp songs, playing games, and nature activities all while building independence. Our camp counselors will provide supervision and magical experiences for your child.

Check in is 8:30 a.m. and check out is 4:00 p.m.
Day camps are open to girls entering grades K-6 in the fall. We understand that not all girls are ready for an overnight experience. If your daughter is going into 6th grade or above and you feel that day camp is the best fit, please contact Madison at madison@gsmanitou.org. Day camp programming is best suited to campers who are developmentally at a 6th grade level or younger.
$59 per girl per day

Camp reserves the right to change activities based on sudden changes in guest presenters, weather, and other factors. For safety, Girl Scout Daisies will not participate in archery but in other amazing activities in keeping with the theme of the session.

Parents, be prepared; day campers often have so much fun they'll want to participate in an overnight session as soon as possible.

For troop leaders registering more than one camper: They can email Madison at madison@gsmanitou.org with the names of the girls that they wish to register and the session they wish to attend.

These sessions are girl-only events where plenty of adult supervision is provided by camp counselors. Adults may not remain on camp property during the session.

Contact the Director of Camp and Program, if you need any special accommodations (including any allergies, dietary or activity restrictions) or if you have any buddy requests.

*Parents may be able to claim their daughter's day camp experience as child care on their tax return. Contact growstrong@gsmanitou.org for a receipt.
