This event is hosted by Schlitz Audubon. Please direct questions there.

Take a step into the forest as we lend a helping hand to our trees. Join Environmental Educator Melanie Ziolecki and our Conservation Staff as you gain hands on experience growing our forest here at Schlitz Audubon. You will learn how to identify the common trees and what all plants need to survive. After that, we will join conservation staff in the field to plant trees. At the end, you will craft commemorative keepsake from the tree you planted and be given coordinates to be able to come back and visit your tree.

The maximum number per group is 5 people. This program is designed for all ages; children must be accompanied by an adult. This program takes place both indoors and outdoors. In the case of inclement weather, the program will be rescheduled to Saturday, April 19th at the same time.

Members: $35 per group of 6 or less | Non-Members: $50 per group of 6 or less
