Girl Scouts love the outdoors, including state parks. Join us in celebrating Girl Scouts Love State Parks Weekend on September 13 & 14 and earn a colorful new patch for getting outdoors at a Wisconsin State Park!
Girl Scouts, their families, and friends are all welcome to join the fun. Manitou Council Girl Scouts are encouraged to get outdoors and enjoy Wisconsin's beautiful state parks. This can be a troop, individual, or family activity.
Girl Scouts of Manitou Council has a limited number of the special state parks weekend patches to give away to Manitou Council Girl Scouts only for free! To receive a free patch from us:
- Get out at a state park during Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekend!
- Parents or troop leaders take pictures of their Girl Scout(s) at the park.
- Send the photos to communicationsintern@gsmanitou.org.
Free patches will given away on a first-come, first-serve basis. You will be contacted following state parks weekend about your patch.
Please make sure you clearly list the number of Girl Scouts who participated and which state park you visited when you send in the photos! Not only will this help us get you your patches faster, we need the information for reporting purposes for this awesome event!
