Bridging season is a special time for Girl Scouts. Bridging is an important transition and ceremony, a defining moment in the life of a Girl Scout. During bridging ceremonies, we celebrate girls for their acheivements, while preparing them for their next step.
Most troops choose to bridge at the end of the Girl Scout year. At this time, girls can proudly share what they have learned with family and friends. It can be set on a special day, or incorporated into the final troop meeting of the year.

As a girl-led celebration, it is important to incorporate the whole troop in planning their bridging ceremony. This is a time to celebrate the girls' individuality and creativity.
