Bee a Reader With New Books for Kids and Teachers: A Bronze Award
Jillian from Troop 8638 in Sheboygan knew that starting school can be a scary experience for anyone! Whether they are a new Kindergartener or a new teacher, there are many fears that can arise. Jillian saw this problem and wanted to help. To do so, Jillian collected books and coloring books, sorted them into special sets, and donated them to the Kindergarteners and to new teachers to spruce up their new classrooms. Jillian wanted all students and teachers to feel welcome in their new schools because it can be scary at first, but she knew that everyone deserved to feel loved. She also wanted to spread the joy of reading to as many people in her community as possible. New books always help with growing a love for reading!
